Weee... I never update journals. lol

So I'm in the middle of crunch time right now with art and everything else. But especially art, especially right now. I'm submitting a portfolio for studio art AP (Advanced Placement exams..) and the deadline's not until May 11th, but slides need to be taken waaay before then so they have time to develop, and basically the only time my teacher can do it is this Saturday. And I counted up my projects, and I'm 4 short.. so.. uh.. I managed to get one done in class over the last 3 days... but I still have to do 3 more so I'm doing them today at hooome! Except the only materials I really have at home are watercolours, so that is my colour of choice.. boo. lol I wish I could do acrylics, but I don't have nearly enough paint at home to paint anything large and expressive. Anyway, I'm not sure I'll be able to get 3 projects done today alone, but I've already started 2 of them, so I might upload them here eventually if they seem like the dA crowd would like them.

Aaaallssooo... I got into Ouran High School Host Club about a month or so ago... and it's so.. gooood.. XD Such crack comedy. And I love the characters too.. so I've been drawing some random fanart. (And random doodles on my calculus notes.. lmao) But those have been put on hold for some time because I need to get art for AP done. Because I doubt AP people would want Ouran fanart.. lmao But anyway, this is a list of pictures I've started that I should eventually finish and upload here...:

3. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne fanart.. of Jeanne/Sinbad.. (omg, KKJ? What? I started that one months ago...)

5. Uhm.. torso and legs.. of orange/blue variety.. o_O That's right. From like.. November.

So that's what I've got hanging around in random folders.. XD Plus 3 AP pieces.. Hm. Yay. Lots of art.. (But I really just want to fangirl Ouran Host Club.. XD)

Grade 12 started off with a bang. Or maybe it didn't. But it sure started off with something. I got my English seminar done on the topic of unit 1 out of 8, which means that's one less thing for me to worry about this semester. But my ISU novel annotations are due in two days... which means I have 2/3 more of the novel to read and then annotate the whole thing. Haha. Guess what I'll be doing all of tomorrow..

But my busiest subject by far is coming from art. This past week, I had 5 projects. FIVE. Mind you, only one of them is actually for class... >___> And these are like.. big kinds of projects... I have to decorate a table for an auction (which is the kissing picture I've uploaded)... then I did a painting for my boyfriend because it was our one year anniversary (yay! )... which.. I forgot to take a photo of. XD Oh well, I'll do it next time I've over at his house and then I'll upload it. lol Then.. there's the actual class project.. which is a hard-edged painting in the homage of Guido Molinari. Hehe.. stripes. How I love stripes. And then there's two tshirts that I'm working on with batik. Batik is fun... Overall, all that means.. BUSY!! Although I still took time out and drew the little Full Moon fanart. XD Because that anime/manga is too amazingly good. Quite frankly I like the manga better than the anime. The anime is just so sugary.. lol I mean, apart from the fact that the last 13 episodes or so are completely heartwrenching.. T_T but pretty much the whole manga is like that. It's just so sad. But so cute. And sooo goood.... *bugs everyone to read/watch Full Moon wo Sagashite*

Oh yeah, so then I also have chemistry and bio. The thing that amuses me the most is having art and chemistry in the same afternoon. lol Our school's chem class is hardcore hard... and the art class is hardcore good... so it's an extreme in both in 3 short hours. I love it. XD haha.

Okay, I'm gonna stop ranting now and go... do... my ISU novel annotations. >__>

I've decided that having a gallery with absolutely every kind of art in it was a little scary for people... too much variety! I figured I'd get a little more luck and visitors if I specialized, so what I did was create a purely photo account. So I deleted all my photos from this account and moved a few of them over to ~photan as well as added new ones in there. I'm actually quite enjoying my new photography. I finally read up on how to do it properly and hope that I'm improving...

As far as this accont goes, I'm going to try to liven it up a little as well... I've been feeling very artistic lately and not quite as picky, so I'll be putting up new art... soon. Hopefully sometime in the next week. Until then, have a nice day.

Okay, I'm alive people. >_> I really am. I've just been... going insane for the past couple of weeks. Months... Since mid-August or whenever I last updated. I volunteered at the University at the end of August, and there I happened to meet a whole bunch of people who I now hang out with a lot... they take up time. School also takes up time. The tennis team took up time. The school musical took up time. And everything put together took up so much time that I haven't updated anything in far too long. Oh yes, and there's also the bit where I have art class this semester and majority of my artistry is going into doing well in that class. I'll try to upload a couple pieces from class, but so far I've only managed to get a photo of one of them... (The teacher keeps them until the end of the year if they turn out well so I can't scan anything and must bring in camera.)

Speaking of cameras, a lot of what I'll be uploading now will be photos because I took about a million (okay, more like a thousand) photos since I got my new camera mid-September. A lot of those photos are just photos of my friends, so I won't be uploading those... But there are a few "artsy" ones that I'll put up.

... also, now that tennis + musical have ended, I will have more time to do stuff, so I'll try to comment on people's art. I'm sorry I haven't been commenting on anything in the past 2 months. X_x;; Wah. I'll be more alive now.

Hey, school's out! That makes me very happy! Except this was probably one of the most stupid exam seasons I've had. My science exam, which didn't seem so hard, I apparently nearly failed (our teacher posted up the marks online). And math, I do believe I got perfect or near perfect (I find out on Tuesday). That I really don't understand. I'm not too happy with my science teacher.

But now that school's out, you'll see me drawing a lot more. I hope. O_o lol I've now tried my hand at vector art and I quite like it. XD So I'll definitely be doing more of that. As well as that, my dad's also getting me a digital camera. (My brother took his when he moved out T_T so I've had to mooch other people's cameras if I wanted to take photos.) So that means, I'll probably be updating some more photos.
